The Lion King is a musical drama animated film helmed by Jon Favreau. It is a remake of 1994 movie of the same name. Jon took up this project after his 2016 successful venture,The Jungle Book. Mufasa, the king of Pride Lands falls for his brother Scar trap and succumbs to death. Simba, the young son of Mufasa was tricked into exile by Scar. In exile, Simba meets Timon and Pumbaa and grows up in their company. The grown-up Simba now wants to return Pride Lands and take what is rightfully his.
